me (dan) and cam recorded these the weekend before he went off to college. bummer!

TO EXPAND ON THIS:

it's 11:53 on December 21st as i (dan) right this. i'm listening to "3" by Britney Spears. never really knew what she was saying when i was a kid, and not even in the innuendo sense, i literally couldn't understand her. autotune shoegaze.

the entire time Cam and i knew each other we talked about music, specifically forming a band and releasing music. Cam's much more talented than me and has a lot more on his schedule so it never really worked out, except on two occasions. one, we recorded a free form noise rock piece that was about six and a half minutes long (i'm now listening to Ke$ha's "Blah Blah Blah", messed up with all of her contract stuff going on), and on another occasion we recorded this 3 song ep (not technically true, i am a liar. Cam wrote the lyrics and the instrumentals long before the day we actually recorded the ep, with the exception of the acoustic Pump Fake cover, which was recorded in one take with one microphone. my voice goes out innit.) we recorded the whole goddamn, forsaken, hellborn thing in one afternoon, a coupledays before Cam was moving to school in Conneticutt. it was fun, i've been really bummed out over most of my friends going to college. life is hell. when Cam is world famous, i'll burn cds of this demo and sell it for thousands of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on discogs, along with my Ice Cream Orphan demo cdr.
